Hand lettering for the 'Sneak Peek' feature of the Design*Sponge blog, where you fill in two sentences about your home. See the full post.
Hand lettering for a Father's Day card, June 2012. Single line outline first drawn with pencil then solid black ink fill, colouring done digitally.
Set of labels for jars and paper sachet packaging of a homemade tea blend I made as gifts, December 2011. Brewing instructions tags done on some handmade paper from India with a deckled edge.
Illustrated title card for an animation, October 2011. The goal was something reminiscent of old silent movie title cards with a hand-crafted, organic quality. The design is drawn on low quality printer paper which adds to the rough, textured look of the final piece. In the animation, the lettering starts on a solid dark background, then the shot pans across as the first scene fades in behind it.
Short series of hand drawn greeting cards for 2012, English and French versions. Drawn with a white Pilot gel pen on an uncoated heavy black stock.
Hand lettering for a birthday card and paper gift bag, June 2012. Drawn directly with black, blue and silver Pilot gel pens on light blue hand made paper.
Typographic drawings for Sketch Art Book, an original comic collector's website, February 2011. The client was looking for some vintage-style illustrations, as if drawn in a sketchbook, featuring the names of specific comic series. Pencil drawings, scanned.
