Various Logos – Christal

April & September 2010

First made in April 2010 as part of a proposal, later revised. The goal was to create a logotype with a warm, friendly and casual feel. The logo was first created using a Japanese Pentel brush pen and refined digitally. The ligatures aim to add a detailed touch and emphasize the shape of a heart suggested inside 'st'.

Logo featured on the Creattica logo gallery, '30 Amazing Logos with Smart Typography' on the Dzine Blog and 'Logos basés sur la typographie' on 4w.fr web agency.

EPC Hungary Logo

July 2011

Corporate logo for the recently launched Hungarian branch of Euro Parking Collection featuring some custom typography for the main intials. I wanted to keep the main company initials as 'together' as possible so I drew the letters with a relatively narrow width.

HAQP Logo

March 2011

Logo design for HAQP, a UK based professional organisation with a focus on web and database development. They were looking to develop a strong, clean and professional visual brand with a touch of individuality.

The upright serif typeface set in all capitals immediately conveys a reliable and experienced feel. The tail of the 'Q' and its interaction with the line adds an original visual element without distracting from or cluttering the design. See the Op45 client page for more information.

Logo concept based on the smooth, flowing lines of cursive handwriting.

Somnambulist Quintet

July 2010

Logo design for an experimental music artist. The Q is modified to resemble its shape in some serif and script fonts, suggesting a sense of classicism.
